Microsoft Sam WAV Download Generator
Type a line, generate it and download the audio as WAV. This page creates SAM-style speech in your browser; the download contains your spoken text, not the original Microsoft Sam software.
Type one short line, preview it, then download the WAV.

Batch line rendering1/12 lines
Put each take on its own line, then download separate WAV files with the current voice and settings.
Make your first downloadable clip
Enter a short line such as System ready. Select a preset and click Generate. Listen for the complete ending, then click Download WAV. Open the saved file in your player before moving it into an editing project.
For several lines, place each take on a new line and use Batch line rendering. The current tool accepts up to twelve lines in a batch and 900 characters in the text box. Your browser may ask whether to allow multiple downloads.

Generate the line, listen, then choose Download WAV. The current exporter produces mono, 22,050 Hz, 8-bit PCM WAV. It downloads generated speech, not a Windows installer or a voice package.
Keep a dry original before trimming or adding effects. If your editor or game requires 44.1 or 48 kHz, convert a copy there. Changing the format does not restore detail absent from the original synthesis. Copy Link preserves the text and four settings so you can reopen the take.
Save enough information to repeat a take
Use a filename such as terminal-open-s72-p64-m128-t128.wav. The built-in download name identifies the voice; rename the file after saving when you need scene and parameter details. Copy Link also preserves the script.
The download uses the current text and settings. If you edit the line after previewing, generate it again before downloading so you hear the version you are about to keep.
If the download seems missing or wrong

| Problem | Check |
|---|---|
| No file appears | Check the browser's Downloads list and download permissions. Try a single line before using batch downloads. |
| Playback works but the editor rejects the file | Open it in an audio editor and export a PCM WAV at the sample rate required by the destination. |
| Speech ends unexpectedly | Test a shorter sentence and isolate the word that fails. Regenerate after changing the spelling. |
| The file sounds unlike the preview | Regenerate with the current text and settings, and confirm you opened the newest download rather than an older take. |
Which voice engine is used here?
This tool uses sam-js, a JavaScript port of Software Automatic Mouth. Microsoft Sam and Software Automatic Mouth are different speech systems. Labels such as Mike, Mary and RoboSoft identify this site's parameter presets; they do not load the original Microsoft or SAPI4 voice binaries.
