Radio Voice Generator for Retro Robot TTS
Generate a dry robotic radio message with RoboSoft Four. Use a call sign, one instruction and a clear ending, then download the source before adding static or transmission effects.
Type one short line, preview it, then download the WAV.

Build a short transmission
A useful fictional transmission has three parts: who is calling, what changed, and whether a reply is needed. Try Relay three to base. Door is open. Transmission complete. The final phrase makes the end unambiguous without relying on added noise.
Relay three to base. Door is open. Transmission complete.Speed 86 · Pitch 52 · Mouth 150 · Throat 185
RoboSoft Four provides the source timbre. Add static and channel filtering in an editor.
Load this exampleSeparate voice character from radio processing
RoboSoft Four starts at Speed 86, Pitch 52, Mouth 150 and Throat 185. Increase Speed if the call sign is rushed. Leave the other values unchanged until the sentence is understandable.
This is text-to-speech synthesis, not a microphone voice changer. The preset supplies a robotic source; it does not model a radio channel. Export first, then use an editor for band limiting, static, distortion or push-to-talk clicks. Keep noise below the level where it hides words.
Three scripts for different game events
Scroll the table sideways on smaller screens.
| Event | Input |
|---|---|
| Status | Relay three to base. Power is stable. Transmission complete. |
| Request | Base to rover two. Confirm arrival at the west gate. |
| Repeat | Signal unclear. Repeat the final instruction. |
Download and reuse the result
Generate the line, listen, then choose Download WAV. The current exporter produces mono, 22,050 Hz, 8-bit PCM WAV. It downloads generated speech, not a Windows installer or a voice package.
Keep a dry original before trimming or adding effects. If your editor or game requires 44.1 or 48 kHz, convert a copy there. Changing the format does not restore detail absent from the original synthesis. Copy Link preserves the text and four settings so you can reopen the take.
Which voice engine is used here?
This tool uses sam-js, a JavaScript port of Software Automatic Mouth. Microsoft Sam and Software Automatic Mouth are different speech systems. Labels such as Mike, Mary and RoboSoft identify this site's parameter presets; they do not load the original Microsoft or SAPI4 voice binaries.
Frequently asked questions
Does the generator add static?
No. It exports a dry synthesized WAV. Add radio-channel effects in your editor.
Can it transform my microphone recording?
No. This tool takes text as input and synthesizes a new voice clip.
How is this different from telephone TTS?
The default synthesis preset is RoboSoft Four. The telephone page uses Mike for Telephone and focuses on numbered menu prompts.
